Magneto and the Acolytes

Magneto: After Charles Xavier’s death, Eric became distraught. At first, it seemed he would never recover, but his love, Moira MacTaggert, was with child and focused upon this. Unfortunately, she would be nearly beaten to death by members of he newly-forged Hands of Humanity. She was nearly crippled and had to rely on her vast technological skill to develop an exoskeleton that allowed her to walk as well as on Eric to provide his mutant ability to power it. Devastated and enraged at the loss of his last hope, he went mad. He easily killed the men believed responsible. Moira rejected him as a murderer. He stopped powering her suit and she now must use braces and crutches to walk. He donned the name Magneto and the world trembled. He discovered and destroyed the first Sentinel Processing Plant, which had sent Sentinels to slaughter thousands of innocent mutants. Many called him a hero. Eventually, Magneto was killed (details to be formed in a Past thread). He resurfaced several weeks later, a messiah. Unbeknownst to any but Moira, including himself, this Magneto was actually a clone implanted with the memories gathered from brain tissue she collected and cloned to try and bring her love back to life.

Acolytes: Followers who worship Magneto.

Exodus: An External. He was brain-damaged and has memory loss. Magneto saved him from a Sentinel raid and brought back his power by blocking blood flow to an inhibitor chip in Exodus’s brain. He is High Priest of the Acolytes.
